Applications For DiscoverEU Now Open
An adventure of a lifetime just around the corner awaits young people from all over Europe!
DiscoverEU is an initiative by the European Commission that gives 18-year-olds the opportunity to travel around Europe by train via a paid pass.
What does this mean?
It means that young people at the age of 18 get to have a chance to travel around Europe and being subsidised for it. They will also have the chance to travel in groups, either with friends or with new people. The travel period is between 1-30 days and they will have to take place 1st July 2022 and 30th June 2023 (https://europa.eu/youth/discovereu_en).
Applications for this initiative will be open until Thursday 21 April 2022 at 12:00.

As of the first application round of 2022, the selected participants will receive a DiscoverEU discount card with discounts on cultural visits, learning activities, sports, local transportation, accommodation, food, and so on.
What is even more, is that there is also a video and photo competition with a prize of €100 for those sharing the best moments throughout DiscoverEU (https://europa.eu/youth/discovereu/competition_en)
