The EUPA is organising a National Thematic Conference which will be held at the Corinthia San Gorg – St. Julians on Thursday 4th December between 09.00hrs and 13.00hrs.
The theme for this year’s National Thematic Conference is Bridging Skill Gaps: A Way Forward.
Speakers hailing from the five sectors eligible under the Erasmus+ programme namely young people and youth workers; school education staff; adult education staff; VET learners and staff; higher education students and staff will be given the chance to highlight what opportunities are on offer, ideas on how to make use of such opportunities and obstacles that may be encountered in achieving such goals.
A panel discussion will follow on how the mentioned opportunities may be further elaborated and reap results through cross-sectoral cooperation amongst the five sectors. This structured collaboration amongst businesses, civil society and public bodies will serve as a means to achieve joint objectives through projects under the Erasmus+ programme.
Better collaboration between the five sectors will facilitate the complementarity between the formal and non-formal fields of education.
Interested participants are also kindly invited to visit the Valorisation Exhibition of Good Practices to meet past beneficiaries participating in Youth in Action and Lifelong Learning Programme projects. Exhibition will be held between 09.00 and 13.00hrs outside the Conference Hall.
If you are interested in attending, kindly register your attendance on firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 19th November.
