The latest update to EPALE is available

The latest version of EPALE (the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) has now been released. Features include a pan European calendar of events, a newsroom, information on key links and stakeholders within the sector and a weekly blog. A glossary of adult learning terms, in the official EU 24 languages and features such as a partner search function and a resource centre will be up and running in the coming months.

EPALE is a new initiative funded by the European Commission. The web platform is the latest development in the EU’s long-term commitment to promoting high quality adult learning in Europe. The site has been developed for teachers, trainers and volunteers, as well as policy-makers, researchers and academics involved in adult learning.

EPALE development is steered by the European Commission and it is managed through the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. It is delivered by a Central Support Service which will be supported soon by a network of National Support Services. www.ec.europa.eu/epale
