Health and Safety of Erasmus+ students

A TCA opportunity in the field of Higher Education entitled “Health and Safety of Erasmus+ students” which will be held in Warsaw (Miedzeszyn) Poland on 11-13 July 2018.

This TCA is targeted to Erasmus+ Institutional coordinators (or contact persons) at Higher Education Institutions in Programme Countries.

Themes and goals of the event:  Overview of existing practices helping to ensure health and safety conditions for Erasmus+ student mobility. Various topics will be discussed including; the information related to health and safety needed prior to students’ departure, procedures at HEIs related to health and safety of Erasmus incoming students, cooperation between HEIs and local police – procedures /lectures meetings / joint initiatives, buddies/mentors assistance…. Plenary discussions and workshop sessions will be held to tackle these topics and others. Participants will be asked to describe the procedures and initiatives that they undertake at their home institutions. Information should focus on: a) good preparation of Erasmus outgoing students for their travel and stay abroad, and b) safe and healthy conditions of stay for their Erasmus+ incoming students.

Expected results:   Enhanced knowledge of Erasmus Institutional Coordinators/ contact persons, Identification of good practice examples….

Kindly please note that travelling costs and any accommodation costs will be reimbursed by the National Agency.
