EUPA invites those involved in the field of Adult Education to apply for a Transnational Cooperation Activity entitled “Fostering critical thinking and media literacy – strengthening European democracy through Adult Education” which will be held in Berlin, Germany between 10-12 December 2018.
Themes and goals of the event: The information available through various media, including the internet, requires innovative pedagogical concepts and approaches that address adults’ critical thinking skills in terms of information received through media, politicians and further opinion makers. It poses an additional challenge to reach out to an audience particularly vulnerable to misinformation or fake news. Erasmus+ Strategic partnerships offer the opportunity to share, develop or transfer innovative practice to tackle these problems and to strengthen democracy. The contact seminar aims to bring together participants with similar project ideas on this topic in order to develop KA2 project proposals. Further information is provided in the draft programme.
Expected results: Participants will find motivated partners with similar project ideas and will jointly draft good quality KA2 project proposals for the next Erasmus+ selection round.
Those interested in applying for this opportunity, are kindly requested to submit their application form via email to Janelle Camilleri (Janelle.email@example.com) by no later than COB 6 August 2018.
